I have a new pattern, made from scratch.
You may notice that the top is narrower than the bottom - that is because my chest is narrower than my hips. Now by much, but enough to throw out the line of a corset. This one also has wider overall hips and chest, as well as a narrower waist - which should combat the buckling that was seen in the last corset. *points to pics from last post*
I'll likely make it from the same fabric, seeing as I have so damn much of it. It's really my toilling fabric, so I think this is fitting.
OH! I must add that rigilene boning is rubbish. Especially for around the boning. I'm forking out for some flat steel on my next one. Perhaps even a busk.
I have my PG crit coming up in a month or so, thus I'd better get down to working and making some stuff!
That's it for now. I'll be tracing off the pieces tomorrow with seam allowance, and maybe even starting. :D
